That depends on the year and model of the Ranger, but we’ll split it between the old and new generations for a bit more accuracy. For the older generation Ford Rangers, you should be able to put a 31” tire on your Ranger without having to do any other modifications. If you have a 2019 or 2020 Ford Ranger, you can fit a 31.5” - 32” tire without having to do any other modifications.

Keep in mind the keywords in both of these cases — without having to do any other modifications. What we mean by that is literally doing nothing else. If you go bigger than these sizes, you’ll have to crank the torsion bars up, install a lift kit, or cut the fenders. Possible even a combination of all three. Any sizes bigger than these will either rub on suspension parts or hit the fenders when you turn the front wheels. So try to stay around a 31” tire on a stock Ford Ranger just to be safe!
