About the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack

The Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack is a grand-touring all-season tire, designed for sedans, minivans, crossovers and coupes.

It’s designed to deliver adequate traction and control in dry, wet and snowy conditions, combined with long wear life.

Also, it’s engineered to dampen road noise, thus providing a quiet, smooth and comfortable ride.

According to Bridgestone, comes with 44% more traction in snowy conditions as well as a 20% improvement in wet traction, compared to its previous iteration the Turanza Serenity Plus.

Design and Performance Features

Bridgestone equips its tires with several advanced features and technologies, to allow each tire to meet its performance objectives.

And the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack is no exception. It comes with a wide range of innovative features and various technologies such as:

All-Season Tread Compound

Bridgestone has outfitted this tire with an all-season tread compound, which has been formed into an asymmetric tread design.

This tread design enables the tire to provide adequate traction, regardless of whether you are driving on dry roads or in extremely wet conditions.

QuietTrack Technology

The Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack has also been provisioned with Bridgestone’s proprietary QuietTrack technology.

And as its name suggests, this technology helps to dampen road noise, resulting in a quiet and enjoyable driving experience.

HydroTrack Technology

Hydroplaning will not be an issue whenever you are using the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack, thanks to the HydroTrack technology.

It features a combination of four wide circumferential grooves and a series of smaller longitudinal grooves, which help with water evacuation.

Comfort Cruise Technology

Bridgestone has further outfitted the Turanza QuietTrack tire with its exclusive Comfort Cruise technology.

This technology helps to spread the tire force uniformly across its entire tread surface, especially when you come across potholes, bumps and other road imperfections.

And as a result, it will help to significantly reduce vibrations being transmitted to the cabin, thus ensuring a comfortable and smooth ride.

Edge Performance Technology

Bridgestone’s tire engineers further utilized its renowned EdgePerformance technology, featuring interlocking tread grooves.

Thanks to this technology, you will enjoy enhanced handling, braking and stability whenever you are driving on a set of these tires.

Performance in Different Conditions

As mentioned earlier, the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack is an all-season grand-touring tire.

And this means it should perform well in different conditions and surfaces throughout the year.

So, is it a reliable all-season tire? Does it perform as advertised? Can you depend on it to get the job done?

Well, we subjected it to a thorough testing process in different conditions and made the following observations:

Dry Performance

The Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack will not disappoint you when it comes to dry tarmac performance.

In fact, its dry performance is one of the best that I have recorded in the all-season grand-touring category.

Its steering response remained accurate and fast throughout the test ride. In fact, it sometimes felt as if I was using a performance tire.

Apart from its great steering feel, I was impressed by how this tire handles corners. Furthermore, the braking distances remained short all through while its high-speed stability is top-notch.

Overall, this tire performed extremely well in dry conditions.

Performance on Wet and Slippery Surfaces

As earlier mentioned, the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack comes with 20% more traction for wet conditions, compared to the previous iteration.

So, are these claims true? Can you rely on this tire to give you a safe ride when you encounter wet conditions or slippery surfaces?

Without a doubt, the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack is one of the best performers when it comes to wet and slippery surfaces.

It didn’t struggle even for a single minute when I was driving in wet conditions. Traction and grip were outstanding, handling was top-notch and my vehicle remained stable even when driving on extremely wet surfaces.

The only issue that I noticed is that its braking distances were slightly longer, compared to the premium all-season grand touring tires.

But when compared to other budget-friendly all-season tires, I can confidently say that its braking performance is above average.

Performance in Snowy Conditions

After assessing this tire’s dry and wet performance, I went a step further and used it during the winter months, to evaluate how it can handle such conditions.

And I was impressed. Unlike most of the other all-season tires that I have used in snow, this tire’s handling was highly predictable.

Furthermore, it provides enough traction and grip, needed to keep your vehicle moving whenever you encounter snowy roads.

However, I should mention that the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack is not engineered to handle harsh wintry conditions.

Also, it can’t replace a proper snow or winter tire. It will only provide reliable and safe driving in light snowy conditions.

So, if your area experiences prolonged heavy snowing during the winter months, you will need to replace the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack with a set of proper winter tires.

Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack Ride Quality

All-season grand touring tires are designed for everyday driving.

So, considering that you will be driving on them almost every day, you will need a set of tires that will provide a smooth and comfortable ride for you and your passengers.

If you need such a tire, then the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack ticks all the boxes. It barely produces any road noise, regardless of whether you are driving on the highway r in the city streets.

Besides the absence of road noise, you will not experience any vibrations in the cabin when using a set of these tires.

It absorbs both small and large road imperfections effortlessly. And as a result, you will enjoy a quiet, comfortable and smooth ride.

Warranties and Guarantees

The Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack comes with 3 key warranties and guarantees.

These are the Platinum Pact Limited warranty, tread-life warranty and a 90-day satisfaction guarantee.

Platinum Pact Limited Warranty

The Platinum Pact Limited warranty is essentially a materials and workmanship warranty.

Under this warranty, Bridgestone commits to replace your Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack tire if it becomes unusable due to issues within the manufacturer’s control.

The unusable tire will either be replaced with a comparable new one free of charge or on a pro-rated basis, depending on when it’s removed from service.

Free Replacement

If your Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack tire becomes unusable during its first 3 years from its purchase date, Bridgestone will replace it with a comparable new one, free of charge.

Bridgestone will also take care of the tire’s mounting and balancing costs while the buyer will pay for the tire’s applicable taxes, disposal fees, valve stems and other related service charges.

Pro-Rated Replacement

If the tire is removed from service after 3 years from the purchase date, Bridgestone will replace it on a pro-rated basis.

Under the pro-rated basis, Bridgestone and the buyer will share the tire’s replacement costs.

The buyer’s replacement amount will depend on the percentage of the original usable tread worn off the tire at the time of its removal from service.

This percentage will then be multiplied by the dealer’s current selling price for the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack.

Also, the buyer will be responsible for the tire’s mounting and balancing, applicable taxes, tire disposal fees, as well as other miscellaneous service charges.

Coverage under this warranty extends for a maximum of 5 years from the tire’s purchase date or 6 years from its manufacture date.

Treadlife Limited Warranty

Bridgestone has backed this tire with an 80,000-mile tread-life warranty.

So, if it wears down uniformly to its treadwear maintenance indicators without attaining at least 80,000 miles, Bridgestone will replace it.

However, this warranty doesn’t come with a free replacement period. Therefore, the tire will be replaced on a pro-rated basis.

And as mentioned above, Bridgestone and the buyer will share the costs of the tire’s replacement.

The buyer’s replacement amount will be determined by multiplying the percentage of the warranted mileage the tire has delivered by the dealer’s current selling price.

For example, your Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack may wear uniformly across its tread down to its treadwear indicators, having only attained 60,000 miles.

And at this point, the tire has only delivered 75% of its warranted mileage. Assuming the dealer is currently selling this tire for $140, your replacement amount will be $105.

The buyer will also pay for mounting, balancing, applicable taxes as well as related service charges.

90 Day Guarantee

As earlier mentioned, the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack also comes with a customer satisfaction guarantee, which runs for 90 days after buying the tire.

Under this guarantee, you have up to 90 days after buying a set of the Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack to examine their performance and decide whether to keep them or not.

If you are not fully satisfied with their performance and you decide against keeping them, you are free to return them where you purchased them.

Once you return them, you can opt for an exchange with a comparable set of tires or a full refund.

It’s important to note that you will only qualify for this guarantee if you buy a set of four or six Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack tires together.

Also, you will be required to return a set of four or more tires if you decide against keeping them.
